Alpha-cypermethrin can be used to control pests on crops such as cotton, vegetables, fruit trees, tea trees, soybeans and sugar beets. It has a good control effect on many kinds of pests such as Lepidoptera, Hemiptera, Diptera, Orthoptera, Coleoptera, Thysanoptera and Hymenoptera on cotton and fruit trees APPLICATION: Mode of action Non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action, and repellent properties. Gives rapid knockdown and long residual activity. Uses Control of a wide spectrum of insect pests, e.g. aphids, Colorado beetles, thrips, Lepidoptera larvae, Coleoptera larvae and adults, etc., in cereals, ornamentals, potatoes, vegetables, and other crops. MIXING: Add the required quantity to water in the spray tank and mix thoroughly. Maintain agitation during mixing and application. ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: Dangerous to fish. DO NOT contaminate dams, ponds, rivers, waterways and drains with this chemical or used container. Do not spray directly onto humans, exposed food or food utensils. Dangerous to bees. Do not spray any plant in flower while bees are foraging. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in the closed, original container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area (preferably locked), away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed and fertiliser. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight or below 4°C. Triple or (preferably) pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. Break, crush, puncture and bury empty containers in a local landfill. If not available bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
