Job Summary

The Human Resource (HR) Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. Reporting to the Operations Director, he/she will assist in the implementation of HR strategies, support recruitment and onboarding processes, maintain employee records, and help foster a positive workplace environment. The HR Assistant will also be involved in HR communications, event coordination, and data analysis to support effective human resource management.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, databases, and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

  • Onboarding Coordination: Help organize and facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.

  • HR Communications: Prepare and distribute internal communications such as HR announcements, policy updates, and employee newsletters.

  • Policy and Compliance: Support the implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational procedures.

  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, including organizing employee events and recognition activities.

  • HR Data and Reporting: Assist in compiling HR metrics and reports, including attendance, employee turnover, and satisfaction surveys, to support informed decision-making.

  • Training and Development: Help coordinate employee training sessions, track participation, and manage related materials.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support organizational goals and ensure HR services meet the needs of employees and management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Prior experience in an HR support role, internship, or administrative position is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.

  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Technology Skills: Familiarity with HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital collaboration tools.

  • Problem Solving: Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities to support HR functions and resolve routine employee inquiries.
